From the Trade Union International of Metal and Mining (TUI-M) and from the European Regional Office of the World Federation of Trade Unions, we call on all the workers of metal, mining and other sectors to organise different mobilizations in solidarity with the Greek steel workers of Helleniki Halivourgia.


They have been fighting for more than 120 days against dismissals, unemployment and wage and labour cuts. 


Therefore, we have arranged an Action Week from March 9 to 14.

We call on you to organise different solidarity actions in front of the Embassies of Greece around the world. There is also a solidarity bank account number in order to give economic support to the strikers.

Semana de Accion end Solidaridad con Trabajadores de la Aceria Griega del 9 al 14 de Marzo


Estimados compañeros y organizaciones sindicales fraternas:

Desde la Unión Internacional de Sindicatos del metal y la minería (UIS-M) y la Oficina Regional Europea de la Federación Sindical Mundial (FSM) hacemos un llamamiento a las y los trabajadores del sector del metal, la minería y de otros sectores a movilizarse en solidaridad con las y los trabajadores de la Acería Griega "Helleniki Halivourgia."  

LLevan más de 120 días en huelga contra los despidos de decenas de compañeros, y los recortes salariales y laborales


Para ello hemos organizado una Semana de Movilizacion del 9 al 14 de Marzo en la que os convovocamos a realizar diferentes acciones de solidaridad y a protestar frente a las embajadas y consulados de Grecia en todo el mundo.


Además, se ha abierto un número de cuenta corriente para que realicéis vuestras aportaciones solidarias a fin de apoyar económicamente a los trabajadores en huelga.
