#Cuba  denounces and demands an URGENT reaction from the international community against the criminal US attack on  #Venezuela . Our  #ZoneOfPeace  is being brutally assaulted. State terrorism against the brave Venezuelan people and against Our America.

Homeland or Death! We will overcome!

In a statement, the Bolivarian Government described the attack on military and civilian installations in the states of Caracas, Miranda, Aragua, and La Guaira as a “very serious military aggression.”

It was reported that defense plans had been activated and a “state of external commotion” had been declared before the international community.

The Cuban Head of State emphasized that “our Zone of Peace is being brutally attacked. State terrorism against the brave Venezuelan people and against Our America.”

This Saturday’s aggression is the result of the escalation that began several weeks ago with the deployment of US troops in the Caribbean, which included a naval and air blockade against the South American country.

Members of the Political Bureau of the Party, Esteban Lazo Hernández, president of the National Assembly of People’s Power, and Manuel Marrero Cruz, prime minister, joined in condemning, in the strongest terms, the infamous US military aggression against Venezuela.

We strongly condemn the ongoing military aggression by  the #USA  against  #Venezuela .The bombings and acts of war against Caracas and other locations in the country are cowardly acts against a nation that has not attacked the US or any other country.

In X, Marrero Cruz asserted that the attacks against Caracas and other locations demand the urgent mobilization of the international community to defend Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace.

For his part, Cuban Political Bureau member and Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla emphasized that these “military actions against Caracas and other locations in the country are cowardly acts against a nation that has not attacked the U.S. or any other country.”
