US President Barack Obama continues  implementing the plan of his predecessor George W. Bush to destabilize   the political system in Cuba, said President of the National Assembly of the People’s Power of Cuba (Parliament), Ricardo Alarcon.

Anyone might think that Bush is no longer the president of the United States, but in fact, the one who replaced him has been implementing that plan systematically and constantly, said Alarcon during the constitution of the National Electoral Committee (CEN) for the next general elections.

They are trying to impose a system that strips the people of their important role to give it to the parties at a time when the world is suffering a deep crisis of the party bureaucracy (partidocracia), he said.

The latest expression of it is a notification by the US Administration to the US Congress about the allocation of an additional 20 million USD to the funds they use to try to undermine the Cuban society.

The figure is supposed to be released by September 30, when the current fiscal year ends, noted Alarcon.

The first task of CEN, Cuba’s top electoral body, will be the organization of municipality polls on October 21.

The election of delegates to the 15 provincial assemblies of the People’s Power and the members of Parliament will be held on a date yet to be made public.

Members of the electoral commissions at different levels will be appointed and taken oath in the next few days.
