Real Existing Socialism Debuts
He writes, “I read Marxism-Leninism Today regularly, and I blog at Real Existing Socialism. I apply Marxism-Leninism to analyze the current conjuncture and history.  The blogÂs name, Real Existing Socialism, signals my conviction that revolutionaries seeking to reconstruct society in the interests of the working class must understand and build upon the achievements of the U.S.S.R. and the socialist countries to succeed. I unapologetically defend the legacy of the Soviet Union  and the struggle for socialist construction in the 1930s. IÂve posted two theoretical pieces so far: In January 2009 during the Gaza Massacre to address conciliation of Zionism within the U.S. communist movement; and in August 2009 to discuss the significance of J.V. StalinÂs Economic Problems of Socialism in the U.S.S.R. (1952) for the Marxist-Leninist theory of socialist construction and the transition to communism.Â
