The forum featured Ryan C. Brown author of the new book Pittsburgh and the Great Steel Strike of 1919 (Arcadia Publishing, SC, September 2019)
In the attached video is one panel of the forum, the remarks of labor historian Roger Keeran, who explored the linkages between the Great Steel Strike and the birth of the Congress of Industrial Organizations (CIO) some years later.
Another panel was led by author and former Associate General Counsel of the Steelworkers, Dan Kovalik. The forum was moderated by Ed Grystar, past President of the Butler County United Labor Council.
