A prolific author and speaker,  Anthony Monteiro has been a professor of African-American studies at Temple University in Philadephia. He was a founder of the Black Radical Organizing Collective, which earlier this year held a major national conference, “Reclaiming Our Future: The Black Radical Tradition in Our Time.”

The interview concentrates on Professor Monteiro’s analysis of the 2016 elections, Trump, Sanders, the politics of Black Liberation, and the need for a new type of multiracial  people’s movement.
