Contribution of the Palestinian Communist Party at the International Solidarity Visit with the Lebanese and Palestinian Peoples

Dear Comrades,

First, we extend our sincere fraternal greetings to the Lebanese Communist Party for organizing this national event that enshrines the concept of resistance and brings back to our memory the glorious day of September 16, 1982—the day of the launch of the Lebanese National Resistance Front. On that day, the Lebanese communists, together with the honorable national forces, inscribed a shining page in the history of the nation when they stood at the forefront in the heart of Beirut, the capital, and fired the first shot in defense of the homeland against the Zionist occupation army. They embodied the solid equation: Occupation = Resistance, under the shade of the red oak—the oak of the immortal martyr Faraj Allah al-Hilou and his comrades. The Lebanese people and their living forces continued this path until the fascist occupation was swept off the soil of the homeland.

Comrades, the continuous aggression against our region by the Zionist entity would not have been possible without the full collusion and direct involvement of U.S. imperialism and its colonial allies, those false claimants of freedom and human rights. They practice the ugliest forms of fascism and unleash the artificial Zionist entity to wage continuous aggression against Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, Iran, Qatar, and others—under false pretexts and fabricated lies aimed at extorting states and plundering the wealth of peoples.

Our Palestinian people have, with their blood, since the Nakba until today, written an epic of steadfastness and resistance, affirming their deep-rooted attachment to their land and their inalienable national rights. From Deir Yassin, Qibya, and Tantura to the Sabra and Shatila massacre—whose anniversary we commemorate today—the Palestinian has proven that his cause cannot be liquidated by massacres nor conspiracies. Our people have crowned their struggle with the epic of Al-Aqsa Flood, which returned the Palestinian question to the forefront of the global struggle, exposing the Zionist entity as a racist, settler-colonial structure in violation of international law, built on false biblical myths and sustained only by absolute imperialist support.

The genocide, killings, starvation, siege, and systematic destruction carried out by the occupation in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank reveal the sadism of this entity before the eyes of the entire world. Despite the horror of crimes and atrocities, our people affirm that they will not break nor bow, and that freedom is seized through sacrifices, no matter how high the cost—for the soil of the homeland is more precious than anything.

From this platform of resistance, we send greetings of pride and appreciation to all the peoples of the world and their progressive forces in solidarity with our cause. We especially salute the heroic Lebanese resistance, which has stood and continues to stand as a pillar for our people, offering its best sons in the battle of common destiny. We also salute beloved Yemen, the guardian of Bab al-Mandab, which asserts its resistant presence in confronting aggression and imperialism.

Comrades, the historical moment we are living compels us all to take a decisive step toward forming a united global front to resist imperialism, Zionism, fascism, and reaction—in defense of the freedom of peoples and their right to self-determination, and to restore the revolutionary internationalist values that unite us.

Long live the struggle of peoples for freedom and independence,
Long live international solidarity,
Glory to the martyrs,
And victory shall surely be for the struggling peoples.
