Editors’ Note: On Feb. 26, 2017, besides wrongly identifying which film won the “Best Picture” Oscar, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences committed perhaps a more deadly error: it gave an award to The White Helmets documentary.
It is unfortunate that the film by Netflix “The White Helmets” won an Academy Award for Best Documentary Short Film. The White Helmets are not a humanitarian non-governmental organization helping the wounded in Syria. They are a propaganda tool for the terrorists and their NATO and Gulf monarchy state sponsors. They are embedded with Al Nustra and ISIS. The US alone pays them $23 million. Some of the White Helmets filmed in the video are just actors. This is a horrible, deadly trick being played on the Western public.
This battle is far from over. There is a push by the US, UK, Turkey, etc. to have the White Helmets go on to win a Nobel Peace Prize.
